This class is for the young kids that are developing their hand eye coordination. We use "kid" friendly equipment to make the learning much easier and FUN! We use short rackets, lower nets, low compression tennis balls and smaller court area! In a short period of time, the kids are hitting balls over the net like champions! My favorite part of working with the Tiny Tots is the fact that they never say never!

Junior Beginner (ages 6 and up)

Tuesday/Thursday 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Fee: $14 per class

This is a class for the kids that have never played before or have played very little. We go through the basics and work on footwork and basic stroke production. We want the young player to have a great experience learning how wonderful tennis is! Positive reinforcement and praise are important in giving the child confidence, as they develop their skills! We work on ball placement through dead ball as well as live balls drills and the kids learn to use strategy in playing points. The young players practice matches as well, to build their arsenal!

Junior Intermediate (ages 6 and up)

Tuesday/Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Fee: $14 per class

Class is for the kids that have the basic strokes and footwork but need to hone their skills to move up to the next level! Class is designed to teach these young players how to "think" on the court and develop tactics that will help increase their winning percentage! We want to teach the young players that in order to win, they have to play the "percentage" shot and teach when it is okay to go for the put-a-way and when to play it safe! Tennis is a mental game and goal is to teach these young players how to control their emotions and keep their mind on the game!
