George Ward Dollar Days 

George Ward will have "Dollar Day" every Wednesday in March.  Players can play for one hour for $1 between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.  For more information contact Rudy Lewis at tenniszyx@aol.com

Riverchase Country Club Tennis
Riverchase will start a competitive JR program on March 3rd. The program is six week session. 15 spots available every session. First session is full. Next session starts April 14th. Tryouts takes place April 5-7th. For more info contact RCC Director of Tennis Johan Gedlitschka at aluspta@gmail.com.

Riverchase will host a senior usta tournament March 21-23. You can play your age group event 30s, 40s, 50s, etc or your rating level (age 50+) 3.0-4.0. Singles and doubles plus mixed. $$ prize money in the open age group categories.(not NTPR) T-Shirt for all participants. TOURNAMENT ID#700087914.
Hoover Country Club Spring Break Tennis Camp 

Hoover Country Club will have a Spring Break Tennis Camp Mar. 24th -26th 1:00-4:00 at HCC the cost is $135 ages 8-14 all levels. For more information contact Boo Mason at boo@hoovercc.com.

Have a team but need home courts? We have Premier Court Surface which is the softest man made court you can play on! The LJCC Is going to lease their courts out for team tennis.
Trussville Racquet Club Tennis
Trussville Racquet Club has started its clinics with Shelley Wirt. Clinics are
Monday 4-5pm for beginners and advanced beginners. Monday 5-6:30 are intermediate and
advanced. For information call 661-0861.
Bea Clark is also available for private lessons.
LIFETIME TENNIS Summer Camp     

The Life Time Fitness Summer Junior Tennis Camp is a 5 day program designed to methodically challenge players of all levels, ages 6 - 17. Campers must have completed first grade.

 

Our focus is player development based on a cooperative to competitive drill format to build and improve tactical and technical skills. All players are carefully grouped by the Coaching Staff according to both age and skill level.

 

Training includes: athletic development, stroke production, court movement, singles and doubles play, individual and team match play, tournament play, group lessons, and individual attention.

Crimson Tide Junior Tennis Academy clinic is offered Monday and Wednesdays 4-6pm (rain or shine) through the school year on our varsity tennis courts. It is open to all players 8-16 years of age and is lead by the Men's Tennis staff (Head Coach George Husack, Assistant Coach Ryler DeHeart). For more information contact George Husack at ghusack@ia.ua.edu.

Get $$ to Teach Kids Tennis  

The Birmingham Area Tennis Association has teaching positions for after school programs around Birmingham area. Free training provided.  Being good with kids is a must; being a great tennis player is not!!!  Programs operate every day of the week from 3-4:30pm with some variations depending on site. Salary $15/hr. with car stipend available at end of program. Must be great with kids and enjoy working in an after school setting. LETT Program Seeks Volunteers

Seeking ways to give back to the community? Learning Excellence Through Tennis is looking for volunteers to help teach inner city after school tennis and life skills. Volunteer would be paired with trained tennis instructors. Programs are for youth ages 7-10 and will last for 10 weeks. Volunteer time once a week for an hour!
