Is Your Pro Certified - Up to Date???

The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) are organizations that certify teaching professionals. To get certified one must demonstrate on-court teaching skills, pass a written test and as well as an on-court playing skills test. It is generally better to take lessons from certified pros than from individuals who are not certified. It is BEST to take lessons from certified pros who keep their PTR or USPTA membership up to date and avail themselves of educational opportunities the organizations offer. To learn more about certification and to see who is certified, visit www.ptrtennis.org and www.uspta.com.
